Laura Zeitlin is the Owner and Creative Director of Sage Home and Floral. She is a floral artist and has been working in the floral business for over 30 years. Growing up, she was exposed to many forms of art and design. It was not until she “fell” into the flower industry in the mid 80's that she knew she had found her niche.

At the very beginning, Laura started her floral career at Flowers by Reuven on the Upper West Side as an assistant. She enrolled in the New York Botanical Gardens Intensive Program in the Bronx led by Frank Laning and Edward Neinstadt and graduated with her certificate from NYBG and immediately returned to Flowers by Reuven.

In 1990, Laura opened her first retail shop and learned the business side of the floral industry. After eight successful years, she sold the shop and returned to Flowers by Reuven for the next 10 years where she managed the daily operations. She produced events throughout the NYC area, such as weddings, bar/bat mitzvah’s, charity balls and daytime TV shows.

In 2010 Laura was brought into a large-scale event company to build their "in house" floral division which she developed over the course of 10 years. Laura, with her amazing team, produced the flowers for many events in some of the most impressive venues in the Tri-State area including, The Museum of Natural History, Gustavino’s, The Plaza Hotel, The Pierre Hotel, The Waldorf Astoria, The Rainbow Room, and Cipriani. She also designed countless events in country clubs, nightclubs, outdoor events in transformed fields, private estates in the Hamptons, and more.

With the uncertainty during 2020, Laura decided to embark on a new adventure to control her own path. Her “next step” in the floral industry resulted in Sage Home and Floral, a creative boutique floral and home decor shop with a vintage edge, located in Monmouth Beach, NJ.
